Trainee Referees Foundation Course will commence on Friday March 6th in Cloghan at 7.30 pm. Has your club recruited any new potential referees yet? There is still time.

Please make the recruitment of referees a priority within your club for the next 2 weeks. Also please forward to me immediately the names and contact numbers of new refs. We will use our new refs in the u/12 Spring League which commences on Saturday 21st March. We will then bring them back for further in-service training.

Hurling Clubs please note that we have very few hurling referees both at adult and underage level. If this continues there will be no competitions.

Finally we wish to thank all those clubs and individuals who are making an earnest effort to recruit new referees. However the response so far has been disappointing from the majority of our clubs. My advice is to identify individuals and ask them to serve the club as a referee. Best of luck and we look forward to an encouraging response.
