Up and Coming Events:

The club would like to communicate the following events that will be taking place over the coming weeks, and would like to encourage Players, Club members, Mentors, Committee members and the wider Community to get involved and support these club and community initiatives. 

• The club will be holding a 5K walk on Saturday 7th March.
• On the 7th of March a Mass will be celebrated for deceased members of the Eire Ogclub, this will take place in Magherarney at 8pm.
• The annual club social night has also been scheduled for Saturday 7th of March.

More information is to follow and will be available for committee members. We look forward to seeing you there…. 

 

Ladies: 

Training is ongoing for u16, minor and seniors and you will receive text about same.

First of our games kicks off this sat 28th in the senior reserve league Monaghan harps v Emmet Og @3pm all support welcome

 

Zumba commenced for all players last Fri night with a good turnout of younger players, hopefully it improves throughout the ages, it will continue next Fri 6th March from 6 -7pm in smithboro hall €3 (note none this Fri 27th)

 

Congratulations to Monaghan County Ladies on a great game and win over All Ireland Champions Cork.. Credit to our club player Ailish Clear who done a superb job as goalkeeper, a great achievement for you and your club. Also to Caoimhe Pruntywho represented the club in the guard of honour. Well done all…  

 

Operation Transformation:
The walking club is finishing up this Saturday 28th Feb. To finish up, the whole community and wider circles are invited to join us in the last COMMUNITY WALK starting from Smithboro Hall at 10am sharp (2 or 4 mile walks optional). It would be great to see big numbers out, so please encourage your family, friends and neighbours to come along for the morning, children are most welcome also!
