Corduff Notes

Competitions:
As the days lengthen following the mid winter break, followers of gaelic games are looking forward to the resumption of club action. The following information re the Reserve and Minor structures should get you interested. Division 2 Minor League is 15 a side comprising 8 teams Toome, Corduff, Aughnamullen, Cremartin, Clones, Inniskeen, Emyvale and Na Mullai Sarsfields(Eire Og and Killeevan). It is a single league with the first round down for 31st March.
The Division 2B Reserve League comprises 6 teams Corduff, Carrickmacross, Inniskeen, Blackhill, Truagh and Killanny. More details of other competition structures to follow.

Congratulations:
Corduff Gaels would like to extend congratulations and best wishes to Gareth King and Emma on the birth of their baby boy recently.

Sympathies:
Corduff Gaels would also like to extend sincere sympathies to Pauline Pallant on the death of her father Tom McKitterick. May he rest in peace.

Thanks:
Pauline Pallant would like to extend her extreme gratitude to the Corduff Gaels club for providing members to form a guard of honour and pall bearers for her late father Tom McKitterick at his funeral.

Ladies:
Monaghan V Cork:
This Sunday 22nd February Monaghan Senior Ladies welcome current All-Ireland champions Cork to Blackhill for Round 3 of the Tesco Home Grown Division 1 League. The Monaghan Ladies County Board is busy promoting this game with free family passed currently being distributed to senior pupils and teachers in Scoil Phadraig and Corcreagh N.S. There are also free passes worth €32 available through the Ladies club. Contact Mary McEneaney on 0876887332 or inquire re same at training. So, come out and support our very own Laura McEnaney and the Monaghan Ladies this Sunday. It promises to be a great day! #Muineachain Abú!

Reserve League:
The Reserve League won’t be starting this weekend. it will be rescheduled to a new date.

Opel Kit For Clubs:
Our first delivery of opel kit gear arrived during the week. We would like to express our gratitude to Felix and Mary McKenna for giving us the points. Grab Your Whistle;
If anyone is interested in doing a Grab Your Whistle course for referees or a refresher course for current referees please let the secretary know asap.
