Having been rescheduled on a couple of occasions the Corduff Gaels AGM was finally held on Thursday night last with a large crowd in attendance. All sections of the GAA community in the area were present with representatives from the men, ladies, juveniles, handball and scór.
The Chairperson, Seamus McConnon welcomed everyone. The Secretary Bernice McNally, Juvenile representative John Finlass and Chairperson Seamus McConnon delivered their reports for 2014. They outlined all activities both on and off the pitch for 2014 thanking everyone from players to volunteers and anybody who helped out in any way during the year. Congratulations were extended to anyone who got engaged or married during the year and sympathies were also extended to anyone who had suffered a bereavement . The following officers were elected: Chairperson Seamus McConnon, Vice Chairperson Padraig Duffy, Secretary Bernice McNally, Assistant Secretary John Finlass, Treasurer Karen Keenan, Assistant Treasurer Mary McEneaney, PRO Mary McEneaney, Youth Officer John Finlass. The re-elected Chairperson Seamus McConnon wished everyone a successful year both on and off the pitch in 2015.

Championship:
With the AGM taken care of it is now time to be thinking of competitive action for 2015. The Intermediate Champions preliminary round will be very much a local derby as Corduff meet Aughnamullen. Between now and then there will be plenty of senior, minor and juvenile action with details to follow in later editions.

Ladies:
U14s & U16s;
Training resumes for the u14s and u16s this Saturday morning at 10am sharp on the pitch. Competitions begin in March so we hope to see everyone back from last year.

Minors & Seniors:
With the Reserve competition commencing on Saturday February 21st there will be two training sessions for the minors and seniors this weekend. The first session is at 7pm on the pitch with the second one on Sunday morning at 10am also on the pitch.

County Action:
Monaghan Ladies registered their first win of the season in the Tesco Home Grown League last Friday night with a win over Tyrone in Emyvale. Our very own Laura McEnaney who was on form was top scorer with a personal tally of 2-05. The next Monaghan match is on Sunday week February 22nd at home to Cork which will be played in Blackhill. There will be free passes available to families for this match so contact the club for details as we hope to see as many Monaghan supporters as possible there on the day.
