Guest Tea – This Sunday see the Clubs Guest Tea in Iontas, organised by the mentors of the Girls Juvenile teams, with all monies raised been used to help support some of the cost associated with running the teams during the coming year. To date table sales have been very strong, with the room filling nicely during the last week or so. The first cuppa will be served at 4pm, so please come along and support the event which will be a real social event, all family, friends and neighbours are very welcome. Juvenile Training – Can we ask all parents/guardians to please make sure that their Children have their Gum Shields with them each week. We are also encouraging the Boys and Girls to take their own water bottles with their name on them each week.
Juvenile Divisions – Training is well and truly up and running at this stage with all teams back on the astro turf for a couple of weeks, we are now awaiting the fixture for all teams. The following are the teams and their Divisions – U16’s will play in the 11 a side Division 3 alongside Aghabog, Clontibret, Cremartin, Killeevan, Rockcorry, Sean Mc Dermott’s, Toome, Tyholland and Scotstown B. The U14 will have two teams; the senior team will play in Division 1 which is a 13 aside competition alongside, Carrick, Inniskeen, Latton, Monaghan Harps and Scotstown while the Development team will play in Division 4 which is an 11 aside competition alongside Clontibret, Corduff, Cremartin, Seans, Tyholland Carrick B team and Monaghan Harps B team. The U12’s will also have two teams and as normal will play in the Spring league which determines their Division for the Summer league , we will be in Zone A 11 aside and Zone B a side along with Donaghmoyne, Emyvale and Scotstown.
Under 10 Fun Fives – The U10 team were back in action last Saturday when they played in the Fun Fives in Ballybay Community College, the standard was again high with a number of very skilful players on each of the teams. We will once again travel to the same venue next Saturday morning leaving at 9am from St.Marys Park and return shortly before 12pm.
National Hurling League – This Sunday sees Monaghan hurlers take on Roscommon in St.Marys Park with a throw in time of 2pm, after last Sunday draw versus Tyrone we can hopefully go one better and secure the two home points. We will require some stewards for the afternoon, if you are available please contact Melissa on 087 761 7216.
Lotto – There was no winner of this weeks jackpot. Numbers drawn 03 13 22 28. Lucky Dip Winners are Seamus Lavelle, Cremartin & Ciabhan Dignam. Next weeks draw takes place in the Conabury Inn with a jackpot of €7100. Good Luck.
