Please find below details of reserve competitions for 2015.
Due to 3 clubs withdrawing from reserve football leagues this year (Oram, Currin & Clontibret C’s) and the addition of Killeevan to reserve football, the reserve league structure has been slightly changed to accommodate
For 2015, reserve league division 2 will be tiered into division 2A and 2B containing 6 teams in each division. Division 3 will comprise of the remaining 6 clubs and is 13 aside. Each division will be played as a double league basis (home and away). For each division, the top team will advance to the final, with the second and third placed team advancing to a play off for the final. The winner of each league final will gain promotion. The bottom team in each division will be relegated.
There will be 3 reserve championships. Division 1A & 1B will enter the O’Duffy Cup. Division 2A & 2B will enter the Crawley Cup, while Division 3 sides will compete in the McKeown Cup. Each competition is run on a straight knock out (preliminary round, quarter final, semi-final and final).
