Primary School Indoor Hurling League 2014
Wednesday last brought an end to our annual Indoor Hurling League. The league was played over the last three Wednesdays in the Phoenix Centre Carrickmacross. In total we had seven schools attend and all the schools provided very positive feedback which is always nice to hear. The games were 5 a side which meant the players were getting plenty of touches and loads of enjoyment.
Over the 3 weeks over 120 young players got the chance to play in what was a very entertaining and close fought league. In all we had 7 schools taking part Annalitten NS, Carrick BNS, Castleblaney BNS, Latton NS, Loughmourne and Mullaghrafferty NS.
A special word of thanks to Patrician High School for providing two very capable referees over the three weeks, Patrick Birmingham and Jack Marron.
Thanks to the schools for taking part and for supporting our work in 2014, Monaghan Coaching and Games would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
