Seasons Greetings to all our members, supporters and sponsors. These truly are great days for the club with Minor, Under 21, Senior, coaching and selector representatives from the club on the county setup. Thank you for all your hard work and support during the year without which our successful season wouldn’t have been possible. Don’t forget to shop local and support our sponsors and fellow members this season. Their support of us is greatly appreciated as is you’re support of them at this key time, please keep it local this Christmas.

Congratulations to the Largy college team that beat Ballybay last week, a great achievement for the school, players and coaches Mr.Wixted and Mr.Mone. The team is made up of all the clubs in the area and they can all share this teams success.

Tommy Monaghan opened the scoring for Largy with a goal inside five minutes, Ballybay got the next two points it was nip and tuck throughout the first half with points being exchanged at Half Time Largy were a point up 1:04 to 0:06. Largy opened the scoring of the second half with two points in the but credit to Ballybay they came back strong with a goal and three points. Largy were feeling the pressure now being down three points but two fine points from Declan Óg and one from Ollie brought it back all square. With ten minutes remaining and Largy had gained the ascendancy and never looked back, captain fantastic and man of the match Tyler O’Hanlon was pulled down when through on goal, the penalty was given and Tyler got up to smash it to the back of the net. Three more points were scored by Largy to leave a final score of Largy 2-11 Ballybay 1-8.

Club Merchandise: make sure and have your loved ones decked on in all their club finery this Christmas. Orders must be in early so get in contact with Joanne as early as you can. If Joanne doesn’t have it isn’t worth having so make sure and give her a call before the big red fella lands.

Mary’s Meals Mile: There’s a walk around St Tiarnach’s park after 11:30 mass this coming Sunday. Support if you can, any money raised goes to school children in Malawi and those less fortunate.

Sincerest sympathy to the Cleary family on the death of Noel Cleary RIP. Our thoughts go out to his wife and family all of the Cleary family at this time. At dheis de go raibh a h’anam dilis.
