McGuigan Builders Intermediate Football Championship Final
Inniskeen 0-11 Donaghmoyne 1-7 12/10/14
Paul Meegan was the match-winner as Inniskeen edged an absorbing IFC Final against Donaghmoyne in Clontibret on Sunday. A Shane McElroy goal helped Donaghmoyne turn their early dominance into a five-point lead, but with Paul, Ronan and Dónal Meegan on target, Inniskeen hit six unanswered points. The teams were level at half-time and on three occasions in the second perios, but Paul Meegan’s seventh point – his only score from play – proved to be the winner.
