JUVENILES

Emily Coyle Tournament

Our U-11s took part in the Emily Coyle Tournament in Latton last Sunday. First up was Rockcorry in the Semi Final. What an appetiser this was for the big crowd who witnessed juvenile football at its best and we were grateful to come away with a one point win in the end. Next up was Latton in the Final. This was another serious game of football by two evenly matched teams. The commitment shown was unbelievable by our lads, defending was heroic, attacking and finishing were sublime and at the final whistle we had two points to spare. Well done to everybody involved!! Team: Philip McNally, James McVicar, Daithi Shevlin, Cillian Carragher, James McElearney, Oisin Branigan, Conor Eccles, Stephen Mooney, Ciaran Branigan, Dylan Kerr, Jamie Hanley, Ben Morgan, Russell Carragher and Matthew Comiskey. A big thank you to the Latton Club and especially Helen and Pete for inviting us. The hospitality shown to us was excellent. Thank you!
