Gormley uPVC Monaghan Senior Football Championship Final
Clontibret 1-10 Scotstown 1-9 5/10/14
Clontibret avenged last year’s SFC Final defeat with a storming finish to dethrone Scotstown in Clones on Sunday. A Darren Hughes goal helped Scotstown lead for long spells, but Conor McManus netted a penalty five minutes into the second half to kick-start Clontibret’s challenge and a late winner from Conor Boyle decided it.
