Universal Graphics Junior Football Championship Final
Drumhowan 1-13 Blackhill 1-11 28/9/14
Drumhowan won their sixth JFC title and their second in three years when they caught Blackhill with a storming finish in the final in Inniskeen on Sunday. This game ebbed and flowed a number of times and after leading by a point at half-time, Drumhowan fell behind to a Ciarán Courtney goal and found themselves in trouble when Martin McElroy was sent off ten minutes from time. Drumhowan managed to outscore Blackhill by 1-5 to 0-2 from then on, however, with main marksman Colm Lambe finding the net.
