Sean Mc Dermotts Notes

Intermediate League:

Our senior team took on Clones in Threemilehouse on Saturday afternoon last. This was always going to be a tough test but we stayed in touch with them for long periods of the game. We threatened scores throughout the first half but didn’t have the final touch to push us in front at the break. The second half continued where the first left off and we were chasing scores. Although we scored a goal in the dying seconds it was not enough to edge a draw. Clones by one point the victors and this now sets up our next outing against Corduff on the 4th of October as a vital fixture.
