Gormley uPVC Senior Football Championship Final:The pairings have been finalized with Scotstown and Clontibret meeting in this year’s senior championship final on Sunday 5th October.

Credit Union League: A much change team, with a few new debutants but in in a gallant effort against a strong Latton side in the senior league last Saturday. Conceding an early goal on 5mins set the pedestal for Latton as they went in at the Interval 1-7 to 5pts up. Both teams exchanged scores but Latton kept their advantage of 4pts right up to the end of the 3rd quarter, and as the game was coming to a close Latton pushed on for 1-15 to 11pts win. Eurotech Junior League: Our Juniors had a defeat at home to Drumhowan on Saturday last. It looked as if Drumhowan were going to run away with the first half, while they went in front 9pts to 2 in the opening 18mins, then a goal on 21mins through Francis Maguire and a Jack Turley point made the half time score more respectable as Scotstown trailed at the break by 1-3 to 9pts. Drumhowan did double there tally scoring in the 2nd half, while further 2nd half scores through Jack Turley (2), Francis Maguire (1) and a 41st minute goal from Sean Mohan made the second half a lot closer contest than the first half, but Drumhowan in the end had 5pts to spare to win on a score of 18pts to 2-7. Big Breakfast:Get set for the Senior County Final this year at our Big Breakfast on Sunday 5th October from 9:30am-1pm in the Complex. Big crowd anticipated, we hope to see our juveniles of all grades, along with their parents and supporters to come in their colors to create a bit of a Buss in the complex.
Stars in Your Eyes: The club will be launching ˝ Stars in Your Eyes ̏ in the club house on Saturday 27th Sept, so if you feel you have the talent to be part of this event, as we all know there are lots of local talent within our area, then, why not be part of the fun, it will be a night to remember and not to be missed. The actual show event will take place in the complex on November 1st.

Ladies: Commiserations to the Ladies Reserves who lost out to Aughnamullen in their League semi-final on Sunday.
Ladies U14: Well done to the Under 14 girls who won their Division 2 Championship semi-final on Sunday, and will now play Killeevan in the Final. Details on the Final to be confirmed.
