Last night in Cloghan saw the final outdoor hurling Go Games Blitz for 2014. After five blitzes throughout the summer our clubs were provided with the opportunity for regular programmes of games. All the Monaghan clubs took part in the blitzes throughout the year which is encouraging. It’s hoped now with some good work over the winter months that our clubs will be in a better position to attend all the blitzes in 2015. Monaghan Coaching staff will be in touch with all the hurling clubs over the next few months to roll out our Club Development Programme. More information will be sent to the clubs in the coming weeks.
Monaghan Coaching and Games would like to thank all the clubs for the work that is going on with developing hurling within Monaghan and by working together the standard can only improve. Thanks to the clubs from our neighbouring counties who took part in the blitzes, you are always welcome to attend. Thanks also to all the young referees who officiated at our blitzes over the year. Thanks to Emmet for having Cloghan in such good nick for hurling. Thanks to all the parents who made the trips to Cloghan with car loads of young hurlers over the year.
Finally see below a selection of pictures from blitzes from 2014.
