Senior team – Another round of the Championship and another 20 mins of extra time, our Seniors are certainly testing every supporters nerve strength at the min. Last Friday night, saw us take on Magheracloone and with only injury time to go and a four point lead, it would be fair to say we thought the win was ours. However as we all know, 3 mins is a long time in GAA, and credit to Magheracloone, they battled hard to secure a point and goal to level the sides at full time. With a Quarter Final place up for grabs both teams came out fighting, with Magheracloone taking the early lead. However a goal from Captain Dermot Malone saw the Faughs draw level, and gave them the extra push needed to finish out as winners. Final Score Faughs 2-16 Magheracloone 2-14. Next up is Latton, which is set for Friday at 8.15pm in Inniskeen. Best of Luck to the management & team.
