125th Meeting: There will be a meeting to discuss preparations to commemorate our 125th year this Friday night 26th September in the clubrooms starting at 9:30pm.

Result:

JFL: We lost out away to Oram last Saturday on a scoreline of Oram 1-09 Aghabog 0-11. We are unable to qualify for the semi-finals of the league at this stage however we have two games remaining against both Championship finalists, Blackhill and Drumhowan, and it is important that we give a good account of ourselves in these remaining fixtures. Please see official fixture for dates.

U16 League Semi-Final Result: Patrick Emmetts 2-12 Castleblayney 2-05. Well done to the U16 lads who qualified for the league final with a hard fought win over Castleblayney last Thursday night in Scotshouse. They will now play Toome in the final this Sunday 28th September at 1pm in Drumhowan. Please come along and support.

FUNDRAISING WEEKEND: There will be a bonanza fundraising weekend in Aghabog GFC clubhouse in aid of Monaghan Cancer Treatment Support on 7th and 8th November. On Friday the 7th there will be a table quiz with a table of 4 for €40. On Saturday 8th there will be a sponsored leg wax, beard and head shave followed by a monster auction!! Sponsor cards are now available in local businesses. Please contact Colm on 087-7409262 if you are willing to help out.

Ladies Notes 25.09.14

U/14: There was disappointment for our U/14 team who were defeated in the championship final last Sunday in Ballybay. The girls and management have put in a massive effort and played in some entertaining games throughout the year but were unlucky to lose out on this occasion.

Circuit training: takes place in Aghabog National School hall every Wednesday from 8.30 – 9.15. €5/night – All welcome.
