Well done to the South Ulster Hurling Academy who competed in the Ulster GAA Hurling Blitz in Garvaghy on Saturday last.
Both the U14 & U16 squads put in excellent performances with all teams we came up against commenting on the quality of our squads.
The U16 squad played very well defeating a strong Donegal team in their 1st game and putting in a competitive performance against Derry in their second game.
The U14s squad were also in excellent form defeating Donegal in their 1st game on a score line of 4-5 to 2-3 and drawing with Tyrone on a score line of 2-13 to 5-4 in their seconds game.
The South Ulster Squads are going from strength to strength!
There is a healthy competition for game time in the squads!
Players are bonding well and their skill level in improving every week!
Preparation begins now for the National Blitz on the 30th August with a training camp this Friday in Cloghan from 11am – 2pm. All players to be in the dressing room no later than 10:45am.
