By Majella Boyd Wed 13th Aug

Senior League

The Senior League now resumes in full swing and we were due to play Truagh yesterday evening, result next week. On Sunday we visit Doohamlet for a 12.30 throw in and on Wednesday next we play the Harps at home at 7.15pm.

Reserve League Division 1

The only remaining game here is the Final v Scotstown which has yet to be fixed

Senior Championship

Our next championship match will be Aug 31st as we await the winners of Latton/Maghercloone who play the previous weekend

County Team

A disappointing end to the All Ireland campaign against a formidable Dublin team, in Croke Park on Saturday. Our representatives, Conor McManus as captain, Dessie Mone, Vinny Corey and Conor Boyle acquitted themselves well and as we welcome them back to club duty, thank them for the many great days they have given us wearing the county jersey. We are proud of you all!

Minor League & Championship

Clontibret 2-9, Cremartin 1-10. We had a great two-point win over Cremartin in the last game of the league to qualify for a semi-final place.

We played Truagh in the championship on Tuesday and next Tuesday 19th, play the League semi final versus St Tiarnachs (Clones/Eire Og) in Smithboro at 6.45

U16

Clontibret 0-11, Truagh 1-16. A disappointing finish to the u16 championship after a bright start, but a Truagh goal towards the end of the first half was the turning point.

Next Thursday, 21st August, we are at home to Corduff in the league at 7.15pm.

U14 League

We play Drumhowan on Saturday at 12pm in Drumhowan.

U12s

A great win on Friday night last when we had Doohamlet as visitors. A super performance turned a five-point half time deficit into a four-point victory to advance to the semi final on Tue 19th August. The opposition here will be Corduff or Doohamlet who meanwhile meet in a playoff

U10 Boys

Training continues on Wednesday nights at 6.30pm at the field. Next Go Games 23rd Aug in Clones

U6 & U8

U6 training will continue on Friday evening at 6.30pm, and u8 training will continue at 10am Saturday morning.
