Lotto Results for Sunday last. Seniors: Play their next game against Drumhowan in Inniskeen at 3pm on Sunday next the 17th in the Championship.
Reserves: Defeated Doohamlet on Sunday last by a 9point margin to reach their league final where they will meet Donaghmoyne again. See fixtures for dates.

 

Minors: Played on Tuesday night last in their last game of the League winnin  on a score line of Aughnamullen 4- 19 to Emmets 4-13

Under 16: The Under 16’s Played home against Sean Mc Dermotts on Sunday last losing their 1st game of the season on a score line of Aughnamullen 4-9 to Sean Mc Dermotts 4-11.  They now play home to Inniskeen in the their 1st game of the Championship Quater finals on Monday evening next at 7.15pm. All support welcome.
Under 14:  Next game is on this Saturday the 16th of August away to Inniskeen at 12pm. All support welcome.

 

U12: Our boys finished their league semi final against Drumhowan  on Tuesday last but Drumhowan came out the stronger team at the end.

 

Carnival Weekend

It was great to see the Carnival back in Aughnamullen. A great weekend was had by all who attended. We kicked off the weekend on Thursday evening with a Car Treasure hunt plenty of clues sent all who took part on their way with Lee Conlon & Eddie Mc Ardle coming out winners. The hunt is still on for Tom & Ann Leanagh as they are the missing a clue on finding their way back to the centre. There was rummers Tom stopped off for a romantic picnic with Ann.

Friday night our wild and wonderful Wedding where we seen our local celebrities help Willie & Alaways  tie the knot and now away on honeymoon on a cruise to  sunny costa del Creeve. With Fr. Almostdone still on the booze still with a few handbag bruises.  A big Congratulations to Rosemary Johnston who had twins on Friday night weighing in at 9lbs each.

Their was also a great night had by the Killkitt School Renunion with an excellent turn out from far an near old friends catching up on old times..

Lots of millionaires in Aughnamullen since the Bumper Bingo there was a rummer that  Paddy Markey was disappointed he didnt get any of the winnings as he was hoping to buy a new phone. ( one that goes on silent ) maybe next time Paddy.

Sunday night finished off the weekend in style with the Wolf Tones Celebrating their 50th Anniversary. They even sang Happy Birthday to Our Chairperson who was also Celebrating his 50th ( Happy Birthday John!! ).

 

Charity Birthday Bash!! You are all invited to John Sheridan’s 50th charity birthday bash on satirday16 august in aughnamullen social centre,  no presents please , donations if desired to the Holy Families School Cootehill on the night. Music, food and spot prizes also on the night , come and join us for the crack!​
