Each of the participants who attended the camps got an opportunity to play football, hurling, camogie, rounders and handball (certain camps). Additionally with the weather being very warm it was a great opportunity for our camp co-ordinators to educate the participants on the Sun Smart Code that our summer camp programme has been promoting. Our county players Kieran Hughes and Owen Lennon (Latton) attended the camps, this went down a treat with the children has they got the opportunity to take photos and sign autographs. Finally , Monaghan Coaching & Games Development Committee would like to thank HOST clubs for providing their excellent facilities and for supporting and promoting the camps. Furthermore they would like to thank camp co-ordinators, coaches, parents and children for their help in ensuring the camps where a success.
