Juveniles

U-14 Final v Castleblayney Faughs:  Our young stars travelled to Tyholland last Wednesday to partake in the championship final. This has been a terrific achievement for the management and players to reach the pinnacle of the competition. The team took a little time to settle to the pace of their  opponents and were outscored in the first period by six points. However by period two they had found their feet and had rattled the Faughs goal. Blayney carried a four point lead to the third period and slowly ground out a lead which the Seans could not make up. The Faughs finished strong in the last period and won on a score of 2-15 to 1-5. Congratulations to all involved with team and hope springs eternal for these young men as this experience can only strengthen their confidence and resolve.
