Killanny Notes

By Mary McEneaney Wed 23rd Jul

Championship
We are now faced with the back door of the championship after a game against Aughnamullen that we never really featured in on Saturday last in Castleblayney. Report elsewhere.
League
We make the long journey to Killeeven tomorrow night at 8 oclock for the return fixture.

Juveniles
Cul Camps
Well done to everybody who took part in the Cul Camp which took place last week. There was a record attendance at this years camp and from reports everybody enjoyed themselves. Thanks to all the coaches for their good work.

Thanks to Magheracloone for hosting a very well organised U10 blitz last Thursday evening. Killanny had to field without a number of regulars due to holidays but those who were available gave a very good account of themselves and can be satisfied with their efforts.

Killanny host an U10 Blitz this Saturday the 26th from 10.00 to 12.00. Please come along and support.

Our U12’s take on Finn Rua this Friday evening the 25th at home, throw in is at 7.30. This is our final league game of the year and as a number off teams are tied on the same number of points a win will see us into the semi’s

The U14’s travel to Ballybay this Saturday for a 12.00 throw in.

The U16’s make the short journey to Emmett Park in Carrickmacross this Thursday the 24th for a 7.30 throw in

Sympathy
We extend our deepest sympathy to the McMahon family on the sad and tragic death of Patsy. The McMahon family  has a long  and proud tradition with the Geraldines. To Patsys wife Pat and the extended McMahon family our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. May God grant him eternal rest and happiness. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam dhilis.
