Last week seen the first week of the Kelloggs Cul Camps with camps in Clontibret, Carrickmacross, Clones and Toome. There was 320 children who took part in all the camps combined which just shows the amount of interest in the camps. It was great to see all the children leaving the camps on Friday evening with smiles on their faces and we where delighted to receive a lot of positive feedback from the camps.
We would just like to thank the four clubs for hosting the camps and the clubs coaching officers for all their hard work in promoting the camps in their clubs and local schools. All their hard work is much appreciated.
There was also the opportunity for four players in each camp to play in the half time game at the Monaghan game last weekend and it was a good reward for all the players that got the opportunity to play in the game.
This week their is three camps taking place in Monaghan Harps, Castleblayney and Inniskeen.
