Senior Football
Our seniors had a setback when we where defeated away to Clones last Sunday.
Luckily for us both Donaghmoyne and Carrick lost also, however a win allowed Corduff to leapfrog all of us to top place.
Next up is Corduff on Fri 25th at Pairc Grattan, it’s a make or break fixture at that stage.
Good to still see an all south Monaghan top 4.

Camogie News
Comhghairdeas to our senior gals who were crowned Louth League Champions last Sunday evening in Knockbridge when they comprehensively beat St Kevin’s of Philipstown.
Played in immaculate conditions with glorious sunshine Inniskeen stamped their authority on the match early on by dominating possession around midfield and the forward line.
Thanks to the scoring prowess of Martina O’Connor and Linda Callan, Inniskeen had 1.05 notched up before St Kevins registered their first score.
Some excellent passages of play between the Kierans sisters Edel and Isobel, Josie Fitzpatrick, Carmel McSkane and Sharon McGahon saw Inniskeen finish the half in pole position 2.06 to 1.01.
In the second half another 1.02 was added to the tally leaving the Inis Caoin Cailini winners on a 3.08 to 1.01 scoreline.
Linda Callan graciously accepted the cup from the Louth County Secretary on behalf of the team and thanked the Louth County Board for allowing us play in the competition.
A good night of celebrations ensued with singing and dancing continuing well into the wee hours. Team: Pauline Boylan, Louise McArdle, Edel Kieran, Leona McKenna, Sinead Hilliard, Isobel Kieran, Josie Fitzpatrick, Sharon McGahon, Linda Callan (Capt) (0.04), Carmel McSkane (0.01), Julianne Finnegan, Cathy Deery, Martina O’Connor (3.03), Gillian Hamill, Amanda McArdle, Gemma Woods, Lorraine Lynch, Mairead Monahan. Managed by Eddie Quigley & Michelle Deery.
Underage training continues on Tuesdays at 7pm in Grattan Park.
