Doohamlet Notes
Senior League: Our seniors made the journey to Truagh on Sunday. In a first half that was close the whole way through and leaving it all to play for in the second half, Truagh finsihed the first half with a slender advantage of a 3 point leaed. As the old sayin goes “goals win games” and that was exactly what Truagh done. We never recovered form the 2 early goals in the second half and a few points from Barry Mc Ginn left the final score Truagh 3-12 Doohamlet 0-9.
Minors: Our minors drew with St Tiarnachs with an excellent game. In a high scoring game they just couldnt be seperated, it finished St Tiarnachs 1-17 Doohamlet 2-14.
U16,s: On Thursday last in Scotshouse we played Aghabog/Currin, with every game our boys are improving and this is all a learing experience for this very young team as they are coming up against some lads that are 2 yrs older than them .
U14’s: Our U14,s travelled to Eire Og on Saturday neither team couldnt be seperated at the final whistle and it finished 4-12 a piece.
