This Friday evening our Reserve side are in Championship Final action as they take on Aughnamullen in the of the Crawley Cup. The game throws in at 7.30 in in Oram in Friday evening. Get down to Oram on Friday evening to get behind the team as they look to gain their first silverwear of the year.

U21s:

The u21 league continued last Sunday afternoon which saw our lads take on neighbours Blackhill at home. This was a tight encounter throughout with both sides having to work very hard for anything they were to get. Thankfully the lads put in a good 2nd half display and came out with the result which means they progress to the next stage of the competition.

Minors:

Our Minors continued their Championship campaign last Tuesday evening as the lads took on Monaghan Harps at home. After a sloppy first half the lads picked it up in the second half to go on and claim the win which means they progress to the Championship semi final, that fixture has yet to be confirmed. They took on St. Pats away from home on Tuesday evening, see next weeks notes for the result. Next Tuesday evening they have their last league fixture before the semi final away to Scotstown. Throw in is at 7.30 in Scotstown. Make the trip on the evening to get behind the lads as they look to finish the league on a high.

U16s:

The U16 squad are in action this Thursday evening as they face up against Corduff at home. Throw in is at 7.30 in Donaghmoyne. Come down to the pitch on Thursday evening to get behind our stars of the future.

U12s:

Our U12 B team were in action on Tuesday evening last, see next weeks notes for the result. Training will continue for both teams on Saturday morning at 10 o clock.

Mini Fontenoys:
Mini Fontenoys continue this Saturday morning from 11-12 in Donaghmoyne, weather permitting. All children from the ages of 5-10 years old are welcome. Parents are asked to get involved and help out and coach our future stars. Registation will also take place for 7-10 year olds this Saturday morning at 11. Regrestration is €5 per child.

Best Wishes:
We would like to extended our best wishes to the Monaghan Seniors in the All Ireland Qualifiers against Kildare in Croke Park this Saturday evening especially to our own Padraig Donaghy who will represent the side.

Mouthguards:
Gum Shields have now become compulsory for both training and matches in the season ahead. It’s important all juvenile players and senior players have their mouthguard in place before entering the playing grounds. At Annual Congress in April 2012, a new rule was enacted that made it mandatory to use a mouthguard in all Gaelic football matches and training sessions from January 1st 2013 for all age grades up to and including minor. The rule will now come into effect at Under 21 and Adult level from January 1st 2014. Players will not be covered under the player injury scheme if they are not wearing a mouthguard.
Lucozade Sport Bottle Caps:
The Lucozade Sport Bottle Caps for the Donaghmoyne Club Crusade can be dropped into any of the 4 schools in the Parish, Mc Caugheys shop and also Lisdoonan Shop. Please Support.
