The Late Seán Mulligan R.I.P.

Blackhill G.F.C. extends sincere sympathy to the family of the late Seán Mulligan, Monagor. Seán was an exceptional forward for Blackhill in the 1970’s ahead of many of his era he could kick with both feet and score from any angle. Seán was involved in the building of the club social centre at the turn of the millennium and many team photos from his playing days hang on the club walls. Seán loved his football especially heading to Croke Park for a big match. Seán was a great friend and neighbour and will be sadly missed in the Blackhill area. Reference Gene Murphy. Best wishes to Blackhill G.F.C. player Darren Woods for a complete recovery after suffering a season ending cruciate knee ligament injury while playing in the JFL in Scotstown. Hopefully it will not be long until you’re seen in the green & black again.
