Armagh 1-8 Monaghan 0-9 28/6/14
Monaghan’s reign as Ulster minor champions ended with this narrow defeat against Armagh in Clones on Saturday. Monaghan led by the narrowest of margins at half-time of a game where the teams were never separated by more than two points, but Armagh’s Conor Grimley struck the only goal soon after the restart. Monaghan rallied to lead inside the final ten minutes, but Armagh hit the last three points to advance to the final against Donegal.
