Corduff Notes

Walk / Run / Cycle:
Keep free Sunday July 6th for Corduff Gaels Walk, Run ,Cycle Fundraiser. This will be a fun activity that the whole family can take part in. Sponsorship cards are being distributed at the moment  to everybody who uses the excellent facilities in Corduff,  the Men, the Ladies & the Juveniles and we are asking for your  support . All monies raised will go directly to pitch maintenance.
 
U6 / U8 /U10
Training is scheduled every Saturday from 10.00 to 11.15.
The next U8 blitz will be on Saturday June 21st in Cloghan. Start time is 12pm
 
U12
The U12’s 2nd game in Division 2B of the Football League against Eire Óg ended in defeat for Corduff. Round 3 is at home against Oram on Saturday June 21st. Throw in is at 12pm.
 
U14
The U14’s are through to the final of the Division 3 Championship following their semi-final win against Cremartin. A brilliant performance on the night from Corduff, who controlled the game from start to finish, saw them win by a 3 goal margin. They face Clontibret in the final on Saturday June 28th. Venue and throw-in time to be confirmed. Before that Corduff face Cremartin again, this time in Round 7 of the League Division 3. Throw in at Cremartin Shamrock Park is at 7.30pm on Thursday June 19th.
 
U16
The U16’s next match is the League Division 1 Round 8 fixture against St. Patricks. Throw in is at 7.30 on Thursday June 26th in Drumhowan.
 
Seniors:
Intermediate League action resumes this weekend for the Seniors. They are away to Donaghmoyne this Sunday June 22nd at 3:30pm .Please take note this is a change to the original fixture. So after a break for a couple of weeks we are calling on all supporters to make the short journey to Donaghmoyne to support the team.
Wedding Bells:
Congratulations to clubman Mel Mc kitterick and Fiona Murray, Magheracloone who tied the knot last Saturday. Best wishes for many happy years together.
Ladies:
U14s: The U14s played Truagh in the Div 3 League Semi – Final on Tuesday evening. Report next week.
U16s: The U16s are back in competitive action on Monday evening in Round 4 of the league away to Castleblayney @ 7pm.
Good Luck: Good luck to Corduff Ladies member Barbara Ward and the Monaghan team and Management on Saturday in the Ulster Senior Championship. They take on neighbours Cavan in Crossmaglen @ 4pm. As always we encourage you to come out and support your county!
