After wins for Magheracloone and Scotstown last night the Gormley uPVC SFC continues today At 2pm in Aughnamullen champions from 2012 Ballybay will take on Castleblayney Faughs . Then this evening championship football returns to St. Marys Park Castleblayney. The home of the Castleblayney Faughs has been a regular venue for all GAA patrons with the ground regularly holding Ulster Senior Football Championship matches in the 70’s and 80’s as well as Monaghan Senior Championship and League match down through the decades. Over the last number of years St Marys Park has under gone extensive redevelopment with phase 1 of the development seeing a new prunty pitch and running track laid followed by phase 2 the construction of a new 2,000 covered seated stand. This evening see local neighbours Latton take on Doohamlet at 5.45pm while the second game will see Clontibret play Monaghan Harps at 7.15pm.
