SENIORS
Cremartin v Carrickmacross
Our Seniors welcomed Carrickmacross to Shamrock Park on Sunday afternoon last. Despite getting off to a slow start, Shane Burke’s goal in the 22nd minute coupled with a point from Ryan McVicar shortly afterwards meant that we only trailed by a point going in at the break. Things remained very evenly contested throughout the second half with the sides level after eight minutes of play however the visitors ran out the eventual winners on a scoreline of Cremartin 1-09 Carrickmacross 1-12. Team and scores: Damien Lavelle, Kevin Atkinson, Patrick McGuigan, Liam Atkinson, Kevin McVicar, Jonathan McGuigan, Ryan Carragher, Declan Farrell (0-1), Shane Burke (1-0), Declan Mulligan, Ronan Burke, Mark Gormley, Patrick McNally, Kevin Brennan (0-3) and Ryan McVicar (0-2). Subs: Josh McWilliams(0-1), Shane Mulligan and Michael Morgan (0-2).
The Club would like to wish Ronan Burke a speedy recovery after his recent injury.
