About the Golf Classic
The Golf Classic is due to be held in Rossmore Golf Club on Saturday 31st May to raise money for the Training Fund for the Monaghan Senior Footballers. Teams of four will play for the Monaghan GAA Perpetual Trophy sponsored by Mc Aree Engineering. They will also compete for some great prizes including four Powakaddy Freeways, four Golf Buddy Watches, four Trolley Bags and four pairs of Footjoy Sports Shoes.
Teams of four cost €250 whilst the sponsorship of a Tee or Green costs €100. All sponsors are automatically entered into a draw to win four Garth Brooks tickets and must be present on the night to collect their prize.
Entertainment is provided in Rossmore Club House after the day of golfing and this is to include special guests such as Joe Brolly, Henry Shefflin, Benny Tierney and Joe Kernan.
There will also be a three-course meal served in the clubhouse and refreshments will be provided after the 9th hole.
