Platinum Reserve League
Monaghan Harps 0 12
Cill Eanna 4 7
We travelled to Gavin Duffy Park on Sunday morning last and collected a very welcome brace of points at the expense of the locals. After coming up short on the precious two outings this victory was most welcome in order to retain an interest in the competition. It was certainly pleasing for managers Leo and Johny to have 20 players at their disposal. Over the past season it was the lack of playing power at this level that was most concerning. It takes goals to win games  and so was the case on Sunday with 2 superb strikes from Kevin Crawley and one from Sean McDonald and Stephen McMahon.
Comhghairdeas
Well done to Monaghan senior team on their return to Division 1 and good luck to them in the final in Pairc Ui Chrocaigh
U14 MATCH REPORT
We entertained Latton at home on Friday last in the second match of our league campaign. Despite a strong overall performance from the team Latton emerged as  winners  with a scoreline of 5-13 to 4-8 respectively. Latton got two goals within the first few minutes while it took Killanny a little longer to settle following a nicely taken point by Sean Finn.  Killanny grew into the match and settled well with a number of nice scores  but we were unable to bridge the gap which was created in the first quarter. However all the team played with lots of determination with Ciaran O’Reilly making a number of lovely saves and Oisin Burns giving a man of the match performance in the half back line.  Kian Duffy was our highest scorer with a score of 3-2 . Our next outing is  a home match against Sean Mc Dermotts  in  Killanny.Team: Ciaran O’Reilly, Ciaran Guinan, Jack Guinan,Oisin Burns,Kian Duffy, Kyle Connolly, Conor Callaghan,Sean Finn, Aodhan Mc Connon, Darren Leegan,Ciaran Walsh,Cian Fitzgerald,David Leegan,Tiernan O’Brien,Cian Mc Nulty,Conor Finnegan,Michael Grimes, Tomas Goodman.
