Kavanagh Country 10K and 5K fun Run
To Reiterate the Camogie ladies comments also, please come along and enter the Kavanagh country 10/5K fun run which is been held on Saturday 3rd of may at 11am as part of the Inniskeen Country fest.
It’s a great opportunity to get out on the road with your family for a bit of exercise and great fun.
Every one of all ages is welcome to join us.

Under 14 Football Championship Division 1 Quarter Final 5th April:
Inniskeen 8-8 Aughnamullen 6-15,
Aughnamullen ran away with it with only a point in it at the end.
Great performance from the players throughout the game, there was solid defending coming from Christopher Hanratty in the backs.
Under 16 Football League Division 2 First Round 3rd April:
Inniskeen 2-17 Killany 2-10,
Inniskeen went out at half point only leading by 2 points but with a few changes they managed to win by 7 points at the end.
Aron Gernon played a stormer in the middle of the field catching kick outs and delivering the ball up to the full forwards Andrew and Aidan Woods who bagged some fine scores.
Minors Football League Division 3 First Found 1st April:
Inniskeen 1-12 Corduff 1-13,
Inniskeen were pipped at the post by a point at the end. It was a great performance from the players, and there was some solid defending from Jaime Dooley throughout the game, but the luck wasn’t there for Inniskeen for they missed a penalty in the last minutes.
Camogie Notes
Our first competitive match takes place tonight (Thursday) when we host St Brides Knockbridge in the 1st round of the Louth League.
The game starts at 7pm and all players are asked to be in Grattan Park at 6.15pm.
Please let Lorraine or Linda know if you can’t make it.
Underage training commenced last Sunday morning and will continue again this Sunday at 11.45am for all primary school girls between the ages of 6 – 13.
Note for your diary – The Kavanagh Country 10K and 5K race takes place on Saturday 3rd May at 11am during the Inniskeen Grattans Country Fest Weekend.
So get training – the countdown has begun!!
