Minors:

Our Minors had their second game of the season away to Monaghan Harps on Tuesday evening last. This was a tough encounter one in which the lads had to work hard in to get a result. Thankfully that was the case and they made it back to back wins to start the season. This Tuesday the lads take on neighbours Carrick away from home at 7.15.

U16s:

Our U16s kicked off their league campaign at home to Clontibret on Thursday evening last. This was a tight encounter from start to finish and thankfully the lads came out with a 3 point win, a good way to start the year. This Thursday sees them return to action as they take on St. Pats at home at 6.30. Come out and support the lads on Thursday evening as they look to kick off well in this Division One league.

U14s:

The U14s have their second league game away to Castleblayney last Saturday morning. The lads fought hard but unfortunately couldn’t get a result they were looking for. Training continues Saturday morning from 10.45.

U12s:

On Saturday morning both our U12 sides have the 2nd round of their Spring league competitions at home against Iniskeen. The first game throws in at 12 and the second game throws in at 1.15. Come down on Saturday morning and support our stars of the future.

Mini Fontenoys:

Mini Fontenoys continue this Saturday morning from 11-12 in Donaghmoyne, weather permitting. All children from the ages of 5-10 years old are welcome. Parents are asked to get involved and help out and coach our future stars.

Lotto Sellers Wanted:

Any children in the parish who would be interested in taking up a lotto selling route would be more than welcome as we would like to cover more and as much of the parish as possible. Each child selling lottos will also receive a commission. Anyone interested can contact Brian on 0872915864.

Mouthguards:
Gum Shields have now become compulsory for both training and matches in the season ahead. It’s important all juvenile players and senior players have their mouthguard in place before entering the playing grounds. At Annual Congress in April 2012, a new rule was enacted that made it mandatory to use a mouthguard in all Gaelic football matches and training sessions from January 1st 2013 for all age grades up to and including minor. The rule will now come into effect at Under 21 and Adult level from January 1st 2014. Players will not be covered under the player injury scheme if they are not wearing a mouthguard.

Club Membership:

Club Membership for the following year is now due. The fee is €20 and can be given to any club officer.

Lucozade Sport Bottle Caps:

The Lucozade Sport Bottle Caps for the Donaghmoyne Club Crusade can be dropped into any of the 4 schools in the Parish, Mc Caugheys shop and also Lisdoonan Shop. Please Support.
