Shalotto

There was no winner of the Shalotto held in the Social Club on the 30th March 2014.  Numbers Drawn were: 5-6-16-21.  Lucky Dip Winners: James McEneaney, Annagh, Frankie Flanagan, Teresa Hinks, Keady, Oisin Branigan and Padraig McBennett, Doohamlet.  This weekend’s Jackpot is €1,600 and our draw will take place in Atkinson’s Shamrock Bar on Sunday evening next. You may join the Annual Shalotto Scheme by contacting any member of the Club Committee.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL Shalotto tickets must be handed in by 9.30 p.m. every Sunday evening to ensure that they go into the draw.

RESERVE LEAGUE

Our reserves travelled to Drumhowan last Sunday afternoon where they came away with another two points after a convincing win on a scoreline of Cremartin 3-15 Drumhowan 2-06.  Team and scorers: Simon Atkinson; Mark Gormley;  Eanna Aktinson, Damien Burke Declan Farrell; Ryan Carragher; Fergal Mulligan; Declan Mulligan, Cathal Atkinson (0-3), John Tomany (0-3); Josh McWilliams (0-1); Ronan Burke (0-1); Ryan McVicar (0-2); Martin McNally (2-2) and Patrick McNally (1-3).

 

FUNDRAISING DRAW

Cremartin GAA’s Fundraising Draw will take place in Cremartin Social Club on Saturday 28th June 2014 with a total of €8,000 to be won!  1st Prize €6,000; 2nd Prize €1,000; plus 10 prizes of €100.  Tickets €20 each or 3 for €50.00.  Tickets are available now from all Committee Members.  Thank you for your support.  Your Club, Your Future!!

Ticket Sellers: Could any ticket sellers with 1,2 or 3 tickets etc sold please hand in asap as they all add up.   Thank you.

 

CREMARTIN JUVENILE LAUNCH NIGHT

The Juvenile Committee will hold an official launch night this Saturday evening at 9pm in the club where they will unveil the new playing kits for the Juvenile teams. Parents and Juvenile players are invited to attend the night and light refreshments will be served.  This is a great opportunity to meet our very generous new sponsors; Shortt Butchers, Gerry’s Takeaway and C.B. Flooring, to whom the club are extremely grateful.

 

Winter indoor training continues at the usual times

Our U12s, sponsored by Shortt Butchers, had a great win on Saturday last against Clontibret with everyone putting in great performances.

Our U14s, sponsored by Gerry’s Takeaway, are away to Corduff this Saturday

Our U16s, sponsored by CB Flooring, are busy preparing for the start of their new season and have had challenge games against Castleblayney and Doohamlet.  The season kicks off on Thursday next.  Details will be given at training.

 

Annyalla/Cremartin Defibrillator Group: Well done and thank you to all those who attended the CPR & AED Refresher in Cremartin Hall last Thursday night.

We are extremely lucky to have two AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) in our Community and it is extremely important that everyone in our local area is aware of the locations of same.  Cremartin Hall/Club: The Club’s AED is located on the gable wall of our Club/Hall facing AnnyallaVillage.  Annyalla Chapel: The AED at Annyalla Chapel is located on the back wall of the toilet block behind Annyalla Chapel.  Please take the time to familiarise yourself with locations of both AEDs.

 

GAELTACHT SCHOLARSHIPS

Interviews for Gaeltacht Scholarships for Coláiste Bhríde, Rann na Feirste will take place this Saturday, 5th April in Cloghan, Annyalla, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan.  Interviews for Junior Certificate Applicants will take place at 9.30am

Interviews for Leaving Certificate Applicants will take place at 11.30am.  Should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact the office in Cloghan on 042-9752033.

 

Lisnagrieve Fire Appeal.

The neighbours and friends of a family in the Lisnagrieve area who lost their home in a fire recently have come together to organise some fundraising for this worthy cause. They are at present undertaking a house to house collection.  Your support would be greatly appreciated!
