Clontibret Notes

Senior League

We are at home to Ballybay on Sunday week, 13th April at 2pm. Following that, we play Doohamlet away on Sunday, 24th April at 2pm.

 

Reserve League Division 1

Clontibret 2-9, Scotstown 0-11. This was a tight game in which the goals proved the difference in the end.

We play Magheracloone in Magheracloone on Sunday at 12.30pm.

On Wednesday, 16th April we play Latton at home at 7.30pm.

 

Reserve League Division 3

We are away to Emyvale tomorrow evening, Friday at 7pm.

We then play Truagh at home on Saturday week, 12th April at 7pm.

 

Minor League

We take on St. Tiarnach’s in the opening game of the minor league on Tuesday in Clontibret at 7pm.

Following that, we play Magheracloone away on Tuesday, 15th April at 7.15pm.

 

U16 League

We play Donaghmoyne this evening, Thursday at 6.30pm in Donaghmoyne.

Next Thursday, 10th April, we have an away game against the Harps at 6.30pm.

 

U14s

We play Éire Óg on Saturday in Smithboro at 12pm. Good luck boys.

We are away to Cremartin on Saturday, 19th April at 12pm.

 

U12 Spring League

We lost to a strong Cremartin side on Saturday last.

We have Drumhowan at home on Saturday, 12th April at 12pm.

 

U10 Boys

U10 boys training continues as normal on Fridays at 7pm in the Community Centre. First Go Games of the year takes place on Saturday,19th April in Clontibret.

 

U8 Boys

U8 boys training continues on Friday at 6pm in the Community Centre. Boys only born in 2007 & 2006 may attend. First Go Games of the year takes place on Saturday, 26th April in Clontibret.

Juvenile Fundraiser

Clontibret O’Neill’s along with the Parents’ Association of Scoil Mhuire and O’Neill Shamrocks will hold their inaugural  10/5 Km Fun Run this Saturday, 5th April 2014 at 3pm. Registration takes place from 1.30pm. Please make sure you return your sponsorship card to your coach before the Fun Run on Saturday. Also if parents can donate cakes, buns or biscuits please leave them at the hall on Friday evening when training is taking place. The winners of the 10km event in both men & women will receive €50, 2nd Place €30 & 3rd €20. There will also be great prizes for the winners of the 5km and U16 races and an additional spot prize for the best fancy dress. A Special Guest will do the warm up and face painting will also be available. We hope that all parents and people in the community will come out and support this event and make it an enjoyable experience for our juveniles.

 

New Juvenile Membership Rates

2014 membership fees as follows due this week:

Single Child: €30                         Three Children:€80

Two Children: €55                         Four Children: €100

Anybody who still has to pay their membership please do so through their contact of the underage team:  U6 & U8: JP Mone, U10: Des Brennan, U12: Seamus Duffy, U14: Pauric Boyle & U16: Niall Brennan. Membership forms and sponsorship cards will be given out to each player at training. All membership and sponsorship cards should be returned by Wednesday, 2nd April.

 

Hurling

There is a hurling match this evening, Thursday at home to ‘Blayney at 7pm. Next Thursday we take on Inniskeen away, also at 7pm.
