Our under 12s were away to Killeevan on Saturday last where a great game of football was played by both sides. In a tightly contested game throughout both sides showed great skill and determination in what was a very entertaining game of football. Well done to both teams and their management. This was a fine team performance from our lads and we look forward to another one on Sat 26 April at 12.00 at home to Rockorry.

Minors:
Aghabog/Currin 4-11 Seans 4-11
Our Minor Team Aghabog/Currin played The Seans, in Threemilehouse last Tuesday evening. With 10 minutes to go, our minors were leading by 8 points, but a good battle and fight back from the Seans meant it finished all square. Our Scores came from a range of players; Cameron O Leary 0-09 (6 from free’s) , Shane Kierans 0-01, Aaron Mc Gorman 2-01, Tyler O Hanlon 1-0 and Ronan King 1-0. Aaron Mc Gorman’s 1st goal resulted in a great pass from Tyler O Hanlon and a strong finish by Aaron. Aaron’s second goal came from a good strong 45 kick from Fergal O Hanlon that dropped short and Aaron cleaned it up and rattled the net again, both in the 1st half. A great pass from Shane Kierans resulted in Tyler O Hanlon scoring a brilliant goal in the second half. Ronan King finally finished up the goal scoring with a brilliant run up the field, by himself, breaking through the Seans defence and smashing the ball in the back of the net. The final score was 4-11 t0 4-11. Well done to all the lads on the team, and big well done to Joey Leonard who stepped up as goalkeeper on the night. The players and management wish Killian Clerkin a speedy recovery after he sustained a hand injury.
