Registration: Club membership fee for 2014 is due by the end of March. Full members who have paid their fees receive the benefits of club membership including the club texting service, and the right to vote at club meetings including the Annual General Meeting. For insurance purposes, all players (adult & juvenile) must be fully paid and registered before they can play. Adult membership is €30, and Juvenile membership is €20. Corporate membership is also available which covers the club membership fee, entry to all Scotstown home fixtures & one year Ciste subscription. Contact Registrar Frankie McCarey on 086-8285777.

Reserve League Division 1A: Scotstown Reserves began the season with a win against Magheracloone at St. Mary’s Park on Sunday. The visitors had the better of the opening half, going in at the break leading by 0-7 to 0-6. Scotstown took control of the second half though, and ran out winners by 3-15 to 1-9 in the end. Team and scorers: Cian Mohan; Edward Beggan, Ross McKenna, Adrian Carbin; Barry McMeel, Fergal McPhillips, Paul Sherlock; David McCague (0-1), Paul Grant (0-5); Tommy Moyna (0-1), Orin Heaphey (1-3), Mark Treanor (0-1); Brian McGinnity, Sean Mohan (1-1), Dermot McCrudden (0-2). Substitutes used: Jack McDevitt, Conor Caulfield, Michael McCarville (1-2), Shane Rice, Mark Clerkin. Next match will be away to Latton on Sunday 16th March at 2pm.

Scór Sinsir: Good luck to our Instrumental Music, Quiz Team and Recitation in the Ulster Semi- finals of Scór Sinsir on Friday 14th March in Dún Uladh, Killyclogher, Tyrone, where they will be up against clubs from County Cavan and Tyrone.

Juvenile Night with Cups:  On Friday next the 14th of March the club are giving our juvenile players the unique opportunity to meet and be photographed with a rare collection of cups, the Ulster Minor (FR Murray Cup) and Senior cups (Anglo Celt), the Senior championship cup (Mick Duffy) and the Senior League cup. A photographer will be present on the night or simply bring your camera for a special memory of 2013. Proceedings will get underway @6.45pm in the complex and we look forward to seeing all our young players in attendance.

Spring League: The U12 Spring League starts on Saturday 15th March, where the club will have two teams competing in the Spring League, in a double header at home in Pairc Mhuire. First game in Zone D starts at 12 noon at home to Monaghan Harps, then in Zone C the next team plays at 1.15pm at home to Monaghan Harps.

U14s: Scotstowns U14 Division 1 Team began their League campaign with a hard fought draw against Monaghan Harps on Saturday last in Scotstown. Trailing for the majority of the game the home side hit 1-02 in the final 5 minutes to claim a draw on a score of 3-11 apiece. A great effort was made by all players and we wish them the best for the rest of the League campaign. Team: Ciaran Treanor, Shane Treanor, Ryan Mc Kenna, Joseph Mc Kenna, Donal Mc Kenna, Aaron Murray, Gavin Mc Phillips, Ryan O Toole, Mattie Maguire, Eanna Mc Carney, Bradley Maguire, Conor Mc Mahon, Patrick Connolly, Ray Treacy, Liam Mc Cague, Aaron Boylan, Shane Mc Cluskey, Michael Meehan, Conor Lappin. Next match is on 22nd March at home to Inniskeen.

U14 Div. 5: Our second team starts their season on 22nd March at home to Inniskeen.

Tydavnet Dramatic Troupe: The drama troupe continues with their fine performance of “The Country Boy” in the Tydavnet Community Centre on Friday 14th March and Saturday 15th March at 8pm sharp. Pl come along and enjoy the performance of the Tydavnet Dramatic Troupe.

Bar Rota: Week beginning 17th – 23rd March the Bar Rota team on duty will be Sean McKenna and Kevin Boylan
