Donaghamoyne and Latton played out two excellent games of U-12 football at St. Mary’s Park, Donaghmoyne last Saturday .
Both games were played in great spirits. Both clubs were coached brilliantly and all players were well disciplined and showed great skills in both attack and defence.
Donaghamoyne won the first game by a single point, 0-8 to 0-7, in a pulsating encounter. The hosts also took the second game in what was a tit-for-tat affair which the Fontenoys won 0-10 to 0-8.
Monaghan underage football is in good hands if last Saturday’s template is anything to go on.
