Quinns Corner Ulster pre season league final

Our Intermediate team where defeated in the Final Last Sunday in Emyvale. Although we fell short in the end, Alan and the lads can be proud of their run in the tournament.

The Grattan’s got off to a blistering start with points from Ronan Meegan, Shane Woods, Matthew McKenna. Then Paul Meegan added a goal as we went in at half time winning by 1-12 to 0-08.

The second half was a different story completely with the Tyrone outfit coming surging back into the match and eventually pipped us at the death by a point.

The Final score from Emyvale was 1-17 to 1-16.

Although the lads came up short in the end, I can say it has been a great experience and has set us up well for the first round of the intermediate league campaign against the Seans this week.

Reserve Footballers.

Unfortunately the lads went down at home by a point to seans last Friday night by a scoreline of 1-10 to 1-11.

Its early times and there will be plenty more opportunities ahead for Pete and the Lads.
