Shalotto

There was no winner of the Shalotto held in the Social Club on the 2nd March 2014.  Numbers Drawn were: 8-12-17-25.  Lucky Dip Winners: Gerry Flanagan, Cremartin, Mary Jordan, Darkley, Orlaith & Grainne Brannigan, Eamon Kerr, Dunfelimy and Noel & Jean Morgan, Tasson.  This weekend’s Jackpot is €1,200 and our draw will take place in Atkinson’s Shamrock Bar on Sunday evening next. You may join the Annual Shalotto Scheme by contacting any member of the Club Committee.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL Shalotto tickets must be handed in by 9.30 p.m. every Sunday evening to ensure that they go into the draw.

U-12s 

Our U12 team play away to Castleblayney on Saturday at 3pm and may have another game against Aughnamullen on Sunday.  Please look out for texts.

U-10s

Meanwhile our U10’s are due to take part in the last of the indoor tournament in Ballybay this Saturday.  Texts will be sent out regarding times.

Mass for the Deceased Members of Cremartin GAA

Please note that a Mass for the Deceased Members of Cremartin GAA will take place on Sunday 30th March at 11.30 a.m. in Annyalla.

Mouthguards

Important: Please Note that following the GAA’s Annual Congress in April 2012 a new rule was enacted that made it mandatory to use a mouthguard in all Gaelic football matches and training sessions from January 1st 2014.  It is important that all players comply with this new regulation and are prepared for the new season.

MEMBERSHIP
Please note that Club Membership is now due to be paid. It is imperative that all football players update their membership before the beginning of the season.  Fees are Adults – €40, Minors – €20, and for a family – €75.00 (family = two adults and two children under 16.  Any subsequent children €5).  Anyone wanting to pay their membership can do so by contacting our Seamus Eccles or Brendan Mooney.

FUNDRAISING DRAW

Cremartin GAA’s Fundraising Draw will take place in Cremartin Social Club on Saturday 28th June 2014 with a total of €8,000 to be won!  1st Prize €6,000; 2nd Prize €1,000; plus 10 prizes of €100.  Tickets €20 each or 3 for €50.00.  Tickets are available now from all Committee Members.  Thank you for your support.  Your Club, Your Future!!

Ticket Sellers: Could any ticket sellers with 1,2 or 3 tickets etc sold please hand in asap as they all add up.   Thank you.

O’Doherty Cup Final

Congratulations to Our Lady’s Secondary School Senior boys GAA team on winning the O’Doherty Cup Final last Thursday night after defeating St. Louis, Kilkeel on a scoreline of 1-10 to 1-04.   We were well represented on this team with Barry McEneaney, Kevin McVicar, Barry Kerr, Ryan McVicar, James Lavelle, John Leonard, Aiden Kerr and Cathal Kerr all on the panel.  The final is due to take place on 15th March next.  Well done to all involved!

Congratulations: to Simon Atkinson and DIT GAA on becoming All Ireland Fresher A Champions last week after defeating St. Marys Belfast 1-13 to 0-10.

Coming Soon: The Ramblers – back by popular demand – in Cremartin Club on Sunday night 16th March next.  All welcome!

Good luck: to both Monaghan Senior Footballers and Hurlers in their respective games against Louth this weekend!  Remember to get your ticket early to avail of the reduced price of €10.
