Clontibret Notes

Senior League

The opening game of the senior league will be away to Latton on Saturday week, 22nd March at 5pm. Best wishes to the team and management in the year ahead.

 

Reserve League Div.1

Clontibret 2-11, Harps 1-8.  This was a good overall performance with a number of excellent individual displays to get the team off the mark for the season.

Our next game is at home to Scotstown on Sunday, 30th March at 12.30pm.

 

Reserve League Div.3

We play Aghabog on Sunday coming in Clontibret at 2.30pm.  Next up we have Truagh at home on Saturday, 12th April at 7pm.

 

Presentation Evening

The Presentation of awards from 2013 will take place in the clubrooms on Saturday, 22nd March, with the following being awarded: O’Duffy Cup medals, Players of the Year Awards and presentations to retiring members of the club executive.

 

Juvenile Registration Evening  

We held a very successful juvenile registration evening in the Community Centre last Friday. A quick meeting was held with parents to outline our plans for the year for the boys and girls. We thank all parents and children who attended and paid up their membership.

 

New Juvenile Membership Rates

2014 membership fees as follows:

Single Child €30;

Two Children €55;

Three Children €80;

Four Children €100.

 

Anybody that still has to pay their membership please do so through their contact of the underage team:  U6&U8: JP Mone, U10: Des Brennan, U12: Seamus Duffy, U14: Pauric Boyle & U16: Niall Brennan. Membership forms and sponsorship cards will be given out to each player at training.

 

Juvenile Fundraiser

Clontibret O’Neills along with the Parents Association of Scoil Mhuire and O’Neill Shamrocks will hold a 5/10Km Fun Run on the Sunday 6th of April 2014. Please watch out for details over the coming weeks. Your support and help will be greatly appreciated.

 

U14s

U14s will begin their league on Saturday, 22nd March. More details next week.

There will be a challenge match this Saturday against ‘Blayney in Clontibret at 11am. All players to report to the field for 10.30am.

Training continues on Wednesdays at 7.30pm in the field.

 

 

U12s

This Saturday the u12s begin their Spring League matches with an away match against Ballybay. Players to assemble at Community Centre at 11am sharp. Best to luck to all involved.

 

U10 Boys

U10 boys training continues as normal on Saturday at 5pm in the Community Centre.

 

U8 Boys

U8 boys begin their training this Friday at 6pm in the Community Centre. Boys only born in 2007 & 2006 may attend.

Hurling

The first match in the Development Hurling League will be at home on Saturday at 5pm against the Harps.
