Scór Sinsir: The Scór Sinsir County Finals will take place on Friday 21st February in Tullycorbett Community Centre, starting 8pm sharp. The Club will have entries in Solo Singing, Recitation, Instrumental Music and quiz. If anyone wants to enter the remaining events, please contact Scór secretary, Pauline Rooney at 0879655031.

NFL: With two rounds played in the NFL Division 2 league, the Monaghan team is sitting second in the table after a convincing win over Meath in Clones on Sunday last and a draw with Down a week previous. Our club player, Rory Beggan contributed well to our game last Sunday, particularly the second half were he denied Meath a score in the opening minutes and then got on the score sheet with two 45’s and a free kick. Kieran Hughes came into the fray as a sub for the last 10mins. Monaghan have a three week break now and then they travel on 2nd March to play Donegal.

Congratulations: To our neighbours, Truagh Gaels on their brilliant achievement last Sunday in Croke Park, as they made history on capturing the All Ireland Intermediate club final in a high scoring, exciting match against Mayo champions, Kiltane. Well Done!

Coaching: Monaghan GAA is running a range of courses over the coming months. Full details can be found on the Scotstown and Monaghan GAA websites. Anyone wishing to attend should contact our Coaching Officer David McCague on 087-6202242 or email
