Team Management
Once again on behalf of the club I would like to welcome our new team manager Mickey Morgan to the club and wish him and the team every success on the playing field for the 2014 season. Mickey met the players for the first time last weekend and addressing the squad he highlighted his requirements for the year ahead and relatively speaking the general theme involved hard work, more hard work and being honest. He emphasised that hard work reveals the true character of a person and all players must be honest with themselves and take responsibility for their own actions to work hard in order to improve their own fitness levels. During his talk he stated that we, (the club, the management and the players) must always maintain a positive attitude and he also spoke about the significance of being punctual and stressed the importance of having a high degree of self-belief in order to achieve our goals this year.
Team Selectors
With our new team manager in place the club is now seeking expressions of interest for the positions of team selectors. If you would like to be considered or would like more information please contact club chairman Jimmy McGeough or any committee member before as soon as possible.

John Elliot and Paul McCormick have agreed to look after the team and if you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact either of them if you have any questions.
Juvenile Teams – Helpers Wanted
The club provides enjoyment and exercise for various age groups including under 8’s, 10’s, 12’s, 14’s and under 16’s. The success of the club is built on the willingness of people to get involved and we are looking for people to help out with our underage teams.
At present we have a limited group of dedicated coaches, mentors and first aiders that look after our underage teams but if we are to continue to grow and develop then we need more participation and involvement particularly from parents, former players and current players. If anybody is interested in helping out or sitting on a juvenile sub-committee then can you please contact our youth officer Pascal Smyth on mobile 086-8161028. Remember, you do not have to be an expert and you will be instructed by an experienced coach, but please come forward and volunteer. You may be able to spare one hour on a Saturday morning or one evening per week to supervise at training sessions, or maybe at a game. Whatever you can do please do come forward and offer your help as we need as many people as possible.
Registration Night / Juvenile Membership
The club intends holding a Registration night shortly to allow all underage players including under 8’s, 10’s, 12’s, 14’s, 16’s and 18’s to register and pay their club membership. All players and parents will be expected to turn up and indeed any new parents and players are also very welcome to attend. It is important to remember that all juvenile players must be registered to train or play any games to be covered under the GAA insurance scheme. We will also be accepting adult membership on the night and club registrar Pat Brannigan will be present and will gladly accept your annual subscription which is for adults €20 with all juveniles under the age of 18 costing €5 and any student that can provide a valid student card the membership fee is €5.
