Recently Monaghan CLG have set up an Archives Committee. Their remit is twofold
- To suitably furnish The Centre of Excellence in Cloghan with photos and other memorable memorabilia of Monaghan Teams and people from the past
- To set up an archive in Cloghan so people doing research into Monaghan GAA have a one stop place to go to.
This Committee consist of John Heaphy, Frank Mc Manus and Joe Mc Elvaney and Co. PRO Noel Duffy.
In order to get things moving the Committee are looking for photos of the following if possible
Ulster SFC Winners 1888, 1906, 1914, 1916, 1917, 1921, 1922, 1927, 1929, 1930, 1938, 1979, 1985, 1988, 2013
National Football League 1985
All Ireland Junior Football Championship 1956
All Ireland B Title 1998
All Ireland Junior Hurling Championship 1997
Ulster U21 Football Championship 1981, 1999
Ulster Minor Football Championship 1939, 1940, 1945, 2013
