Intermediate Championship 2014: The draw for The Intermediate Championship was held last week. Having escaped the preliminary round Corduff were drawn against Cremartin. These teams are no strangers as they’ve had some close encounters over the last few years and no doubt this will be another exciting one.
Allianz National Football League: Well done to Padraic Keenan who made his League debut on the Monaghan team against Down on Sunday. Padraic played a pivotal role in what proved to be a tricky encounter with Monaghan lucky to leave Newry with a draw. For all National League fans the GAA is doing a special rate for all tickets prepurchased . There will be a €5 reduction with tickets costing €10 if bought in advance. Tickets can be bought in O’Gorman’s Super Valu or online from www.gaa.ie/tickets.
GAA National Club Draw / Crannchar Naisiunta na gClubanna GLC: Central Council is running a draw for clubs . Books of ten tickets are available and the club will retain the proceeds of the tickets sold by the club. Prizes provided by the Ard Comhairle include a trip to the 2014 International Rules in Australia, All-Ireland packages, Corporate box concert tickets, a travel voucher and other great prizes. Books of 10 tickets are currently being distributed for sale. The most important thing being that all proceeds from tickets sold by Corduff Club go directly to the Corduff club so let’s get selling!
