The much-anticipated Juvenile County Doubles fixtures have been deferred until later so, in the meantime, we hope to play some friendly games against other local clubs to keep up the competitive interest.  We have a few players ready to represent the county in the Ulster championships which begin shortly.  All those chosen from Under-12 to Under-14 are expected to attend  weekly county training which is due to commence shortly.
The three Challenger 1 leagues are nearing completion and will be followed by a Challenger 2 competition. Good luck to brother and sister, Eoghan and Louise Mc Ginnity in the Mixed Doubles Gael Linn competition. They will face stern opposition from 2 strong Tyrone pairings in Ulster. The format is girl versus girl, boy versus boy and mixed versus mixed with the aggregate scores deciding the winners. This is a national competition and we are sure that our pairing will represent the club with pride and determination.
The new display board has arrived and we are seeking suitable photographs from the past year to highlight the many achievements.  Good luck to GAA Handballer of the Year, Terry, at the county awards on this Saturday.  Our final match is the Senior team league was against the Tydavnet club this week and we now await the knockout semifinals.
