On Friday 11th October 2013 Monaghan Coaching and Games organised a secondary schools hurling coaching/blitz day which was held in Cloghan. On a beautiful morning for hurling we had 98 students participating in our blitz. The students came from five schools and thank you to each school for arranging the students to be there. The five schools were Patrician High School Carrickmacross, Our Lady’s Castleblaney, Beech Hill Monaghan, St Macartans Monaghan and Ballybay Community College. Monaghan Coaching and Games would like to thank all the schools, students and teachers who made the blitz the success it was.
Also we would like to thank Ger Gribben, The Regional Development Co-Ordinator for the Camogie association and Paul Divilly from Ulster GAA for helping out on the day.
Thanks also to Pauric Dowdall and Ann Mc Kenna who ensured that everything ran smoothly on the day.
